Blood Glucose Monitoring $10
Our trained pharmacists will check your blood glucose levels with up-to-date monitoring devices. We will keep a record on your own confidential file available for your doctor or to gauge if our wellness plan has made a difference in bringing it to normal!
How does it work?
We simply take one drop of blood from the least sensitive part of your ring finger and place a drop on the sensor. Within seconds, we get a reading and record your result.
Importance
This is a health screening tool. Consistently high readings will create a tendency to blood clotting. That is one way that diabetics may lose a digit or a limb. Not only that but also, low blood glucose levels may cause unwelcome mood swings.
Benefit to you
Whether you are a diagnosed diabetic or someone who merely wants to improve your wellness profile, we have ready-made solutions help you to achieve blood glucose levels that sit between the ideal range of 5.2 and 5.8. Kirsty and Phil, our pharmacist/natural therapist, are ready to guide you to healthy food choices to help achieve this, even while taking into account today’s fast lifestyle.
Frequency
For normal readings, we advise an annual check-up. For marginal readings, quarterly. For high readings, monthly.
